I am excited to serve on the Business Committee of the Alliance of International Aromatherapists @AIAaroma #aromatherapy #lifestyleceo #essentialoils #aromatherapists Find out more here Share on XEven if you’ve followed my entrepreneurial endeavors for the past two decades, you may still be surprised to know that I am a certified aromatherapist. I earned my aromatherapy certification at the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy in San Rafael, California, before I founded the Indie Business Network.
WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT TO ME
I founded the Indie Business Network in January 2000, one year after becoming a certified aromatherapist. At the time, I was working full-time as an attorney in my hometown of Washington, DC. I was also about to marry and start a family.
As I designed my future, I knew that I would not be able to lead the Indie Business Network with my whole heart if I was also practicing aromatherapy.
It’s not that the two endeavors are incompatible. They are absolutely compatible.
However, I felt it was important to focus my energy in one direction in order to produce maximum impact. My decision paid off.
Over the years, my love and passion for aromatherapy and essential oils has never waned.
Serving on on AIA’s Business Committee is a unique opportunity for me to layer my love for aromatherapy on top of 22+ years of entrepreneurial success, for the benefit of AIA.
I look forward to supporting AIA’s continuing efforts to further the success of its members.
