Module 1: Foundation and Philosophy

Entrepreneurship is not just about making money. It’s about having a clear vision of how you want your business to fit around your life (not the other way around). We explore People, Purpose, and Profit, and how they fit together to form a business that is unique to you, and which causes you to thrive in the crowded field of today’s “everyone’s-an-entrepreneur” economy.

Module 2: Clarify Your Offer and Member Avatar

In Module 2, you will drill down deep to clarify the one single thing you and your brand stand for. You’ll see clearly how to use the Internet to uncover the information you need to know to determine whether the product or service you want to offer is something your specific target member will buy on a repeat basis — and how to pivot quickly if that’s not the case. You will build the confidence to compete without always offering discounts and other incentives that cannibalize your bottom line.

Module 3: Create a Content Calendar That Produces Sales Opportunities

Marketing tricks and tactics come and go, and as they do, we feel like we have to always jump on the new bandwagon. In Module 3, you’ll learn that you do not have to learn a new marketing hack every week in order to be successful in your membership business. I’ll show you how to attract a constant stream of sales opportunities every day without gimmicky “formulas” that stress out both you and your members. If you are weary of all the hyped up, car salesman, urgency-based approaches to marketing, you’ll really like Module 3.

Module 4: Identify Specific Recurring Experiences

Module 4 dives into the core of what your members will experience on a recurring basis, and how you will deliver those experiences. I’ll teach you to set expectations you can actually meet, how to make changes without frustrating your members and yourself, and how to create unique experiences that become an integral part of the valuable experience you deliver on a recurring basis. You’ll also learn how to serve without burning yourself out.

Module 5: Build Out Your Technology and Payment Models

You are almost ready to launch, but first, you’ll need to organize the best way for you to be paid for your amazing membership benefits. You have a dizzying array of options, and in Module 5, we’ll sort through enough of them to allow you to make an informed decision about what will work best for your members, yourself personally, and your bank account. Module 5 also include your Technology Day where I will work with you to begin to set up your recurring revenue payment structure.

Module 6: Your Founder’s Launch

Module 6 is all about launching and enrolling your “seed” or “founder” members. You’ll actually launch your membership program, as big or as small a launch as is appropriate for your brand. We’ll cover how to use your existing marketing tools to announce your membership and make it available for enrollment. You’ll discover how to price your membership and whether to make it available on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.

Module 7: Prioritize Customer Service and Member Retention

If you are not prioritizing customer service, you are losing money. Module 7 emphasizes that your members are pure gold, and they should always be treated that way. I’ll teach you how to maintain positive and fruitful business relationships with your members, how to handle challenging relationship issues, how serving one member well is just like serving all members well. You’ll also learn how to maintain relationships with former members so you an influence them to come back and re-join later.

Module 8: Grow and Expand Your Membership

Module 8 covers specific ways you can grow and expand your membership into multiple related income streams, including additional services, products, retreats, books, speaking opportunities, co-branded collaborations, and more. You’ll learn how to define “growth” on your terms, and how to recognize and leverage the best income opportunities to support your lifestyle goals. I’ll reveal how to invest your resources in ways that are consistent with when how you want to grow, and the extent to which you want your business to “scale.”
