About 20 years ago, I left a fancy job as an attorney in a big city to follow my passionate belief that every woman can build a life on her own terms by selling products she makes with her own hands.
I believe women can lead and succeed in life and in business without having to rely on any third party, be that a man or a traditional job or an alimony check, or whatever, to support herself and her children.

IBN serves Makers and Handmade Entrepreneurs from all walks of life, providing them with with access to affordable product liability insurance, and benefits like entrepreneurial training, mentoring, and resources needed to be successful.
Today, I am the happiest entrepreneur alive because I get to make money while doing what I love: empowering women, and I get to do it all from the comfort of my own home, or the coffee shop or co-working space du jour.

There’s no big staff or a huge number of team members to bog me down.
There’s no off-site office. IBN is a “real” business without one.
There’s no worry about making money. My solid and consistent platform, including a podcast, a membership-based business model, consistent social media outreach, and physical events takes care of that.
I evolve my business into whatever I want it to be, on my own terms.
I serve my members from deep inside my heart.
I never dread Mondays, nor do I look forward to Fridays like they are the only day of the week that matters.
I have amazing entrepreneurial friends, who love and support me every step of the way.
I never work. I work without working. It’s a paradox my parents never understood.
Freedom, independence, flexibility, and fun
I lead my business to make money of course, but I also do it so that I can enjoy the benefits of freedom, independence, flexibility, and fun.
