Entrepreneurship
I’m excited to share that I have accepted an invitation to appear on a virtual online chat entitled: The Five Phases of Entrepreneurship. Hosted by local digital publication QCity Metro, the complimentary event on April 15 at 6pm ET consists of an informative online entrepreneurial chat and Q+A with me and QCity Metro editor and publisher, Glenn Burkins.

QCity Metro is a news, business and culture platform that serves the black community in my adopted hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. Founded in 2008, QCity Metro is one of the nation’s first digital-only news organizations founded to serve a local, black audience.
Among other things, QCity Metro keeps Charlotte’s black community informed about issues that shape our lives — everything from government to health to entertainment — and yes, my favorite topic of all, entrepreneurship.
The event is designed to help anyone who aspires to launch a new business or grow and expand an existing one.
Glenn will interview me about my signature entrepreneurial success path, the Indie Method, which consists of the five sequential phases of growth through which every business travels.
Why this event?
Particularly in the wake of the pandemic, discussing entrepreneurship is more important than ever.
Says Glenn:
Some of our most popular content focuses on people who have achieved entrepreneurial success. Hosting this session with Donna Maria is a natural extension of what we do. I hope those who attend will come away smarter and better equipped to make good business decisions.
